FLOAT EXPERIENCE FLY FISHING
Float tube safety
DO NOT OVER INFLATE YOUR TUBE.
Personal Safety equipment
Polarized sunglasses are great they allow you to see the fish, reduce the glare, and offer eye protection from bad casting.
A hat offers shade and can protect you from bad casting.
Life jackets are required by the coast guard. I will provide them but they do no good if they are not worn.
I learned this one first hand. When a fish takes your fly they often dive for the grass on the bottom. I have lost many a fish that way. If you decide you don't want to lose a large fish that dives with your fly and try to hold him you may suddenly find yourself up side down in the water. Before this happens let him fight the drag.
If your tube (which has no leaks now) should start loosing air you will find a inflation tube you can use to put more air in the float tube. This inflation tube is meant to keep you from swimming not to keep you fishing. Please use it wisely. By the way it is a very good idea to know how to swim.

My fishing trips are for the fun of it. If you want to catch food try a Halibut Charter. These fish range in size from about 35 pounds to 450 pounds and I think the small ones are the best eating fish anywhere. They fight like a tire.
